It started with moment beyond my comprehension, a feeling that had overtaken me as time passed by. Whether or not this feeling were true, I cannot ignore it's presence and where it takes me. It's a path I fear to take, and a road that has no end unless I take action.
I trust that my heart will lead me to do the right thing and hopefully keep me grounded. Although, this not something that I planned, it's something I'm willing to experience no matter the harships. Things will come at me, actions and words may hurt along the way, but my heart will keep beating. I'll learn to care for myself and others, to keep myself in one piece and be able to share my heart with the people I love. To connect on such a deep level with friends and others to the point where we can feel it in our souls, that is what I'm looking for and I hope it's what I achieve.
My journey of self preservation and keeping myself sane while sorting emotions isn't exactly the easiest, but it will figure it out. Not alone, but with the help of everyone I know. Or even the people I used to know who taught me a lesson for what is right today. Any shadow cast upon my life, any smoke that fogs my head, any chaos that take my peace will be cleared with the warmth of love. Know that it won't be instant and it's not always good, but it's time that heals and patience that it takes. So, through the darkness of it all, will you promise to stay?
